竞赛个人认为主要不是三种:
1.算法类:ACM/ICPC、Astar等。
2.工程类:Imagine Cup、城市杯、挑战杯(创业公司类)
3.学术型:KDD，挑战杯(论文型)。
根据想要获得的东西，推荐参加各种各样的竞赛。
我个人是这么认为的。
a.如果毕业后想进入好的公司工作，可以考虑参加工程类的竞赛(建议直接做项目)。
算法竞赛是向企业展示你的潜力和聪明。
b.如果想做研究，就做学术性的事情。
无论是什么比赛，只要用心准备，就能凭借自己的能力获得很多东西。
